5 Tips to Get a Page 1 Ranking on Google

Published by Admin under Uncategorized

Getting on the first page of Google is every Internet Marketers dream. Let’s face it, page one equals more visitors which could convert into more sales.

The good news is that you do not need a PhD in Search Engine Optimization to get on page one. All you need to do is follow these 5 simple tips.

Before we go on, these tips are in no way a guarantee. In fact, if you are competing against millions of others chances are you won’t make it but to give yourself a fighting chance, do the following:

1.Keyword phrase in the “title” tags.
Google loves title tags. With your keyword phrase in between these tags your chances skyrocket. If you look at results for any search on Google, the highlighted text is the title tag of the website.

2. Keyword phrase in [h1] tags at the top of the page. Most webpages that occupy the first page for any given search will have their keyword phrase in between the [h1] tags.

3. Image tags. If you have graphics on your site it is imperative to utilize the [alt] and [title] tags in your images. Put your keyword phrase in both these tags with a slight modification for each.

4. Keyword density. Regardless of how much text is on your page, mention your phrase or variations of it only 4-5 times. Do it naturally. It is important to keep the text flowing and appear natural.

5. A Sitemap. Google loves them. Even if your website is purely built for Adsense, include the sitemap. I have even included a privacy statement page on a few of mine to let Google know it is a genuine, legitimate site.

That is 5 basic SEO tips that have worked for me. Try on your site today and monitor the results. You might not be a page one king but watch your site climb the rankings as a result.

Internet Marketing - 5 Simple Ways to Get Higher Search Engine Ranking

Published by Admin under Uncategorized

1) Create excellent Meta tags.

Meta tags are used to help the search engines decide where to place you in their listings. In other words, Meta tags are html codes that are generally inserted into the website header on a web page after the title tag. In the context of search engine optimization, when people refer to Meta tags, they are usually talking about the Meta description tag and the Meta keywords tag. When you create Meta tags for your website you should be sure to include all keyword that deal with your page. If you need any help then search the internet for a free Meta tag generator.

2) Submit website to search engines and directories.

The best way to increase your search engine ranking and placement is to submit your website to all search engine and directories. This will easily help to boost visibility and attract a lot of targeted visitors. Keep in mind that you website needs to be popular because other website owners are literally competing with you for search engine placement every day. Also the more search engines you submit to, the higher visible your website will become.

3) Build a high number of one way links.

Building back links to your website is vital in the fight for search engine ranking. Search engines see links to your website as votes of confidence. They see that a link from another website to yours means that they website owner really like what they see. Basically, the websites that are number one in the search engines have hundreds or even thousands of back links. But remember, a back link from a high ranking website is looked on more that links from a low level start up website. Any which way, build as many links as you possible can.

4) Keep your website updated with unique content.

Search engines nowadays try to keep as much up to date websites in their listings as possible. The high level ranking sites update frequently with fresh content. Try to image if search engines were not showing updated content to all users. They would end up going out of business and losing the trust of all users.

5) Join forums and write articles.

One of the easiest ways to build your search engine ranking is to increase the visibility of your website. This can easily be done by joining a lot of forums and writing articles. When the search engines see that your website in forums and article directories, they will trust your website a lot more. The more trust you build with them, the higher your website will rank. And the higher your website ranks, the more unique visitors you will gain. This method is also a great way to build a lot of high quality back links. There are many top webmasters who use this tactic for years and dominate the search engines. It will take some practice to create articles, but it becomes easier over time. This will pay off with many number one listings in search engines.

Build Page Rank The Right Way!

Published by Admin under Uncategorized

I want to begin by explaining that link building is just as important as writing clean html pages, finding key words & having clean key word driven content in your site pages.
This link building process can very time consuming and very difficult because there are lots of sites that will do anything to block there outgoing links from the search engines and this is a very frustrating thing to those who try so hard to do this the right way.
What I want to present here is a few steps you can take to help build links to your site:

  • First thing is if you have used web services from high ranking sites or used any services is to see if you can write a great testimonial for them and include your sites link. There are many companies online that like to post testimonials and it is a fair trade for a well written one to have a link placed to give you some credibility.
  • Find forums that are ranked well in the search engines and that are related to your industry. Check them out and make sure they are using a mod-rewrite to that the your postings will count and can be read in the search engines
  • Create a web blog with well written posts and articles about your industry. It is not so important to sell your service as it is to have well written content and include at least 3 links on each blog pointing back to your site. Now remember that there is no reason to spam others blogs with your sites links, it is okay to search for blogs and makes posts on them but don’t add your link to your site, your blog link will be added automatically and your main blog is your focus for linking back to your site. Please don’t just make posts on others blogs trying to sell yourself, make a profound comment.
  • Find web directories that you list your site on like dmoz or yellow pages. Make sure to have great keywords and content. Remember that content is your key
  • Find link exchange directories and sign up for them. Find link partners but choose them carefully. If you are using a link exchange program, make sure you have full control of the category names so that you don’t get dinged for duplicate content. If you need help finding a decent software feel free to ask me.
  • If you have 2 sites then try this 3 way linking. Ask someone to link to your main site and in return you will link to their site from your other site. Make sure that your other site is build clean and has plenty of great content and use the techniques above to get that site ranked high as well
  • As I said this is not the only thing to do but it is important. To organize this process write out a plan or schedule and try to spend about 15 minutes a day on this. After that go on to something else. Be patient and you will be successful.

The #1 Secret To Ranking Number One In Google!

    Published by Admin under Uncategorized

Backlinks are a must. If you want to rank number one for a keyword on Google, you need an army of backlinks pointing back to your site. The most successful search engine marketers are those who have the most incoming links to their site from the sites with the highest Page Ranks (Google’s measure of the quality of a website). They do this by having the anchor text in the incoming links. The anchor text would be the keyword/s they are targeting for the number one spot on Google.

Building backlinks on your own is a time-consuming task. A shortcut to ranking number one quickly on Google for a averagely competitive search term is by buying backlinks.

One place to buy backlinks is the Digital Point forums. It’s free to join and they have a section called ‘Link Sales’ where you can buy and trade links for your websites. What you’d want to do is to buy as many high Page Rank incoming links as possible, so that when the next Page Rank update comes, your site will receive a boost in Page Rank.

Avoid sites which provide content that is not original or is simply copied from another site. These sites may be penalized by Google for having duplicate content and if it links to your site, you could be affected too. Also try to avoid having too many links in sites which are totally unrelated to yours, as the search engine spiders will become suspicious and think you are spamming.

The Focused Approach to Search Engine Marketing

    Published by Admin under Uncategorized

I know when an SEO client needs help when I ask them: “so what key phrases to do want to optimize your web pages for”, and they answer: “all of them”.

I know they need even more help when I ask them to describe their target market and they say: “everyone in the world”. Lack of focus is the most common mistake I see from people trying to optimize their web pages. It’s a natural mistake to want to rank on as many keyword phrases as possible.

The logic is that you want to get as many visitors as possible so that you can present your compelling offer to them and hopefully convert them into customers. This is the shotgun approach and in the 90s during the era of keyword-stuffing, hidden text and doorway pages this approach worked pretty well.

The trouble is that traffic does not equal sales and these days it’s just too hard to optimize a web page for multiple competitive keyword phrases.

The most successful SEO campaigns I have done were focused on one keyword phrase per page to a well defined geographic area. They were successful in ranking well for search terms that motivated buyers in the target service area were searching on.

Users of search engines have become far more sophisticated with their search terms. For example, say someone living in Sydney was interested in buying a new canvas awning for their house. Five to ten years ago they may have searched on a single word: “awning”or even “canvas awning”

These days they are more likely to search on a phrase like “Sydney canvas awning suppliers” or “canvas awnings Sydney” or even “Sydney awning installers”. They have learned through trial and error that by adding search modifiers like “canvas” and “Sydney” the most relevant results will appear. The golden rule to remember is that the longer the search phrase, the more motivated the buyer. And that’s what most web site owners want, motivated buyers and shoppers rather than browsers and accidental visitors.

Through investing time in keyword research it is possible to identify search terms that do generate significant search volume and are easier to optimize for. Once those phrases are identified and tested the best approach is to build a web page for each of those phrases. Focus wins.

Why Search Engine Ranking is Like the NHS Waiting List

    Published by Admin under Uncategorized

OK, so the optimisation process was a raging success. You’re number one worldwide for Lem-Sip flavoured dinnerware. Return to your office and prepare for profit.

Don’t rush, it could be a long time coming.

Search engine ranking is a key performance indicator; it isn’t an outcome. It’s all too easy to forget what we’re actually aiming for and treat symptoms, not causes.

The NHS analysts put huge importance on reducing the number of people on their waiting lists. We hear news items placed by various governments (I’m being party-agnostic here!) that waiting list numbers have reduced by X% and nod sagely at a job well done. Until we hear that the figures are being massaged by admitting fewer people to the lists. Bizarrely, it doesn’t seem to occur to any of us that the number of people on the list doesn’t matter. It’s how long you’re waiting to be fixed that counts.

Our obsession with search engine position is distressingly similar. The key outcome is conversions, not where you appear in Google. Imagine searching for treasure on a Pirate Island. The more holes you dig, the more chance you have of finding the doubloons. But if you don’t know where to dig, or if you’re even on the right island, that’s an awful lot of sweating for not much of a result.

OK, So You Already Knew This

By now you’ve probably worked out that I’m talking about the relevancy of the key phrases for which you’re high in the search engines. You’re half right; that’s certainly an element, but it’s only a small part of the story.

We’ll come to the really important stuff in a moment. But before we do that let’s talk for a moment about this bit that you already know. You worked out ages ago that there’s no point being top for a search term that no one ever keys in.

    Didn’t you?

I’m glad you did, because that means you’re not one of the thousands who are sucked in every day by scammers who ‘guarantee’ you a top ten listing. Key phrase relevancy is hardly breaking news, but it’s still forgotten by a depressing number of people, who then become easy prey for the fast buck brigade.

    Conversion is the Only Criterion

Let’s get back to basics. When you built that Website you had an aim in mind. In most cases filthy lucre figures strongly in the equation, but some Websites are aimed at imparting particular information or gathering responses. Whatever you want from the site, it’s fundamental to its success that you define the goal. Try writing that goal down. You should be able to express it in one sentence. If you find there are ‘ands’ in there, you might need to define two or more separate goals.

    · We want to sell items through the on-line shop

    · We want to receive qualified inquiries from potential customers

    · We want visitors to tell us their opinions

    · We want visitors to request a brochure

    · We want people to sign up for something

There are countless more possibilities, but the common factor here is that we’re looking for a definable, countable result. When a visitor takes one of these options we’ve converted them into something different; they’re no longer a stranger. Until they take that step they’re no help to us.

Now the good news. Conversion is far, far cheaper than traffic. Driving people to your site always costs, either in straight money or in time and effort, which ultimately are the same thing. But conversion can be boosted by relatively trivial tweaks to your Website. I came across a client recently who’s shopping cart completions increased by 40% when we moved his checkout button an inch higher on the screen.

Pay-Per-Click is a Great Optimisation Tool

It follows then that analysis of visitor behaviour is the key to improving conversion rates. We need to understand exactly what visitors are doing on the site. At this stage absolute numbers are of secondary importance. As long as we have enough click-throughs for a meaningful analysis we can make good decisions.

And here we come to the litmus test for key phrase relevancy. OK, we don’t want a phrase that no one searches for, but equally we don’t want phrases that don’t lead to conversion. Just as importantly don’t be persuaded to bid for terms that you cannot provide content for. Checking your bounce rates is essential to ensure you are not paying for traffic you don’t want and cannot hope to convert.

Finding out this information before starting a natural search engine optimization program is critical, as it can prevent the campaign being built with the wrong focus. With pay per click it’s possible to try combinations of different phrases, landing pages, site content and navigation until you find the best result.

Once the site is working at full chat, responding to search terms that relate to your target audience, you have a sales conversion tool that will provide increased return from increased traffic. Now’s the time to go looking for those search engine positions!

Simple Isn’t the Same as Easy

This is all easy to say, but not necessarily that easy to put into action. Improving a site’s conversion rate comes from a blend of common sense, experience and good intuition. There are plenty of excellent analytical tools around - and Google’s own Analytics will tell you a great deal about your site without soaking up your server resources. But you need to invest time into relating all the separate pieces of data and working out what they’re telling you.

And sometimes you’ll be surprised at the hidden message. Many buy-on-line sites love to offer you additional purchase options as you progress through the shopping process: ‘People who bought the Anteater exercise wheel also bought the Diary of a Vegetarian Arc Welder’. Why? Because filling stations sell chewing gum by placing it next to where you pay for your petrol.

But the Web doesn’t work the same way. Most buy-on-line sites work better when you reduce people’s options as they progress through the buying process.

To return to my opening statement, this is where the focus on search engine position fails you. Driving thousands of people to your Website will do nothing but cost you money until you’ve tuned the site for optimum conversion. Measure and optimise the results from the visitors you have first, and then you can turn your attention to increasing their numbers.

And, let’s face it; everybody needs Lem-Sip flavoured dinnerware.

How To Obtain Non-Reciprocal Link That Will Raise Your Search Engine Rankings Tremendously

    Published by Admin under Uncategorized

We all know that there are tons of different ways out there that can raise your search engine rankings. However, do you know how search engines rank your sites anyway? Well the truth is, there are tons of different facts that play a role on how the search engines rank your web page. That is why there are so many different ways out there to raise your search engines ranking; some just work better than others.

The good news is that there is one way to increase your ranking tremendously, and that is by obtaining non-reciprocal links. The search engines rank you by the number of links that are linked back to your site. However, not just any link will do. You have to make sure that the sites that are linked up to you are related in content.

Here are my top ways to get Non-Reciprocal Link that will raise your search engine rankings tremendously:

1- Get your web site listed in web directories relevant to your niche.

You will have to do some research. But your persistence will pay off. Not only in improvement of your google page rank but that will also bring you some targeted traffic in the process. There are thousands of free directories waiting to list your listing.

2- Article Marketing, write and publish your articles on other web sites.

Use article marketing to write simple, but useful articles in your field. Submit your articles to article directories. they will include your “resource box” with a link back to your site. That will once again boost your google Page Rank and at the same time increase your credibility.

    3-Write and publish an ebook.

Write and publish you own ebook. Then offer a free copy of your ebook to websites related to your niche. Submit your ebook to ebooks directories. That way you will get a link back to your site.
Publishing an ebook will provide you a new free way of promoting your website. Why do you think so many internet marketers are giving away electronic books?

It’s easy to go out there and look for these sites, but you have to make sure they are related to your site. A good way to do that is by searching for websites that have a lot of the same keywords as you. You can easily do this on search engines by putting keywords in quotation marks.

Getting links to your website from all over the place is great, but overall, you will have to do a lot of things to get our website noticed by search engines. However, having links everywhere is a good way to start out. Just make sure that they are quality links and everything will go perfectly for you. Also, make sure you make a website that other sites want to link to. This way you know that the information that you are offering is high quality. This will get your site noticed in no time.

Search Engine Optimisation Services Specialist Discusses What Is Search Engine Optimisation Part 27

    Published by Admin under Uncategorized

The best way to create a powerful RSS feed is to sing up or join a professional and reputable free blogging service. Then use the RSS feed that the company automatically creates for your content and your blog and then place that RSS feed on your website. Remember to keep posting to your blog in order to have unique content always being shown through the related RSS feed on your website.

Why does search engine optimisation work. There is only one thing or reason as to why SEO works. Great keyword specific original content headed by the same keyword specific titles. If you are going to market goods and services on the internet (note the word ‘market’ not advertise), it does not matter what these products services or goods are, you need to give people solutions to their business problems by showing them that by using your business services and products it will produce those benefits and solutions for them.

The point here is that you have got to write if you want to market your business on the internet. If you do not know how to write you need to learn. So how do you learn how to write? It is very simple. Talk into a microphone, record it, then as you listen to your recording you write your words down. Write like you speak. The more that you write the easier it becomes and then you can write even more and your style of writing improves.

Do not put on airs and graces. Do not write that you are an expert when you are not. When you do become an expert in your chosen field then you can write and inform people about it. Keep your writing simple, honest, sincere and direct and people will trust you and therefore do business with you. Once you start appearing on the internet because of your writing and you start achieving first page ranking on the search engines and achieve notoriety, then you have accomplished ‘bragging’ rights. Write and tell people about your notoriety achievements.

    What Are Advertising Gifts?

    Published by Admin under Uncategorized

Advertising gifts are those gifts that you hand out to potential clients and to future clients to keep your company’s name on the tip of their tongue and in the forefront of their minds. Mugs and mouse mats and other functional items are great for this purpose, as there is a good chance that your advertising gifts will be used again and again by customers and your name will be exposed to them constantly as well as to anyone that they come into contact with.

Think carefully about these investments, though. Mugs can be replaced with gifts from other companies or from family members, pens can be lost or used up, and mouse pads can be replaced with one that more closely fits the personality of your customer. So how do you ensure that the advertising gifts that you choose to hand out stay in the hands of your customer and keep them coming back?

A great take on advertising gifts is the puzzle. Not just jigsaw, but any kind of puzzle that you can think of from coasters that can be pulled apart to wooden toys with your logo on one side. A puzzle or toy is something that your customer will turn to when he or she is thinking, manipulating the pieces and seeing your name and company logo on the face of the toy until that company information is burned into their memories. What a great way to make sure that your information stays right in front of them!

Advertising gifts can be handed out at trade shows and conferences, packaged with sample fulfillments, or handed out to anyone who walks through your office doors, regardless of whether they wind up doing business with you or not at that time. You should have plenty of them on hand, because everyone loves getting gifts, even advertising gifts.

Part of the appeal of advertising gifts is the fact that they are not necessarily expected. Everyone loves to get things for free, and when that free gift turns out to have a use or value of some sort, it is even better. Hand a man a stress ball with your company logo and see if he continues to play with it after you are gone. Chances are, he will use it daily as something to fiddle with as he words, reinforcing your company name on his subconscious.

Finding the right advertising gifts means having your name at the forefront of a client’s mind for days, weeks, or even longer. Your advertising gifts, when well chosen, can make a great difference in your business and help you to earn repeat business from those clients who see your name on that toy or mouse pad every day and remember your generosity and your wonderful business practices.

You will love the difference that a few well placed advertising gifts makes in your business, and you will find that they pay for themselves in terms of generating interest and clientele, perhaps even more so than a business card will do.
